Ceromancy -- Divination by Melted Wax (Basic Method)

1. Carefully melt wax: it may be necessary to use a double boiler or bain-marie
2. When the wax has liquefied, pour it gently into a dish of ice-cold water, typically forming shapes.
3. Allow time for the wax to sollidify before removing it from the water, as it's initially very pillable and the original shapes may be changed or destroyed by handling too quickly.
4. Remove the wax and interpret the shapes.

The number of shapes formed may also bear significance. Particularly,  auspicious-looking  shapes may be transformed into amulets, preserved or carried as needed
