Banishing Candle Spell

This candle spell is the reverse of attracting candle spell. It is a good spell to use if you are being intimidated by an organization, whether a debt collecting firm or an official body and will help you to banish fear and fight back effectively. You may need to carry it out a number of times, but each time the destructive hold over you (or a family member) will lessen.

Items You Will Need:

A purple or dark-blue candle on a metal tray; a dar strip of paper and a white pencil or crayon.

Timing:

At dusk on any night, though the spell will work faster if performed during the waning moon.

The Spell:

• Light the candle

• Using the white pencil or crayon, softly write the name of the person or organization threatening or manipulating you on the strip of paper, so that the point just touches the paper but the words you have written cannot be seen.

• Hold the paper in the flame and say:

“Be gone,

Be done.

I want no more of you.

Your power to frighten me is through.

• Drop the flaming paper on to the tray to burn through or go out.

• Leave the candle to burn down.

• When the ashes of the paper are cool, bury them beneath a fragrant bush or plant.

• Phone or email someone who makes you feel good about yourself or who can offer support and then have a bath, ideally using a lavender or ylang ylang bath product.
